Wayzata High School Senior Earns Eagle Scout Scholarship

A Wayzata High School senior recently earned a $1,000 Eagle Scout scholarship.

According to the Sun Sailor, Scott McCullough was recently presented with the scholarship by the Northern Star Council Boy Scouts of America. The scholarship program recognizes Scouts who have displayed outstanding achievement in academics, athletics, troop leadership and overall service to their community.

McCullough earned his Eagle Scout rank as a member of Troop 283, which is chartered to Wayzata Community Church in the Lake Minnetonka District, the article said. Eagle Scout is the highest rank in the Boy Scouts.
