Thank a Firefighter in Wayzata

Grab your family and friends as the public is invited and encouraged to attend this year’s Annual Second Call meeting, which will take place on Monday, May 20 at 6:45 p.m. at the Wayzata Fire Station. Fire Chief Kevin Klapprich and all volunteer firefighters will be there to greet attendees and answer questions.

In 1934 Wayzata’s Second Call Fire Department was formed as a way to help morally, as well as financially, assist the Fire Department.

Today, the money donated from this organization is used primarily for unbudgeted fire equipment. While the Second Call Department does not fight actual fires, its donations are used to assist in the battle.

The contribution levels remain the same:
$1,000 one time payment to become a lifetime member
$100 per year for a family membership
$25 per year for an individual membership
$50 for a business membership.

If you are already a member, we thank you. If you are interested in joining and would like more information, please call us at 952-404-5337.
