TCF Bank Raises Nearly $100K in 2015 for Make-A-Wish Minnesota
Wayzata-based TCF National Bank recently announced that it raised nearly $100,000 in 2016 for the Make-A-Wish Minnesota foundation.
According to a BusinessWire release, donations were accepted throughout the year at 99 Minnesota branches and during team member fundraising events.
“We’re big advocates of Make-A-Wish because we believe in supporting organizations that provide enriching experiences to children with life-threatening conditions,” Kent Engler, director of retail banking at TCF Bank, said in the release. “We’re pleased that TCF Bank, its team members and customers have collaborated to help a wonderful cause and we’re thrilled with the outcome.”
Make-A-Wish Minnesota grants the wishes of Minnesota children with life-threatening medical conditions as a way of enriching their lives with joy, hope and strength, the release said.
