Sunday before Christmas is filled with Family Holiday Activities

The Minnetonka Symphony Orchestra will be performing at the Wayzata Community Church. It’s a special event this year since it is the 40th Anniversary Juletide Concert. Along with the Orchestra, the Symphony Chorus and Chamber Choir is set to perform their “Many Moods of Christmas”. The event is on December 22nd at 3 p.m., located at 125 E. Wayzata Boulevard.

Come to Bethlehem this weekend. Well – since you can’t travel back in time to see baby Jesus; you can experience it “first hand” with a live nativity scene at the Messiah United Methodist Church, located at 17805 County Road 6 in Plymouth. After the concert in Wayzata, drive on over to the “Come to Bethlehem and See”, that has animals and characters from the biblical Christmas story from 6 to 7 p.m.

For more information on the holiday concert in Wayzata call 952-473-8877. Admission is free to both events and is a great way to spend the Sunday before Christmas. There will also be treats, soup, and festive cookies at the Methodist Church!
