Money Magazine Names TCF Bank “Best Midsize Bank in America”
Wayzata-based TCF Bank was recently named the “Best Midsize Bank in America” in the West/Midwest region by Money Magazine.
The honor comes from Money’s annual “The Best Banks in America” list, which looks at banks big and small all over the country. Here’s what Money had to say about TCF:
“The rate on higher savings balances bested all banks surveyed. Meanwhile, Premier Checking pays a little interest, with a lower-than-average minimum; and TCF has no-minimum, no-fee checking as well. TCF also had the longest hours of all banks surveyed—73 per week and 18 on the weekend (vs. averages of 50 and 6, respectively).”
In a press release, TCF Vice Chairman Tom Jasper said: “TCF Bank’s recognition in Money Magazine’s ‘Best Midsize Bank In America’ list reinforces what many of our customers value about their banking relationship with us – we offer tremendous value and convenience backed by a commitment to quality service. Our team members take great pride in this distinction and we are committed to doing even more to provide our customers with a broad range of competitive products, convenient access to their accounts and personalized service.”
