Gregor Farm and Greenhouse Celebrates 40th Season
West metro destination Gregor Farm and Greenhouse is celebrating a major milestone this summer—40 years in business.
According to the Sun Sailor, Rex and Arlene Gregor, along with their son Tom, purchased the property adjacent to their Medina homestead in hopes of growing a sustainable farm for themselves.
“When we started, our business was supported by myself and my father working full-time ‘day’ jobs and working the fields in the evenings and weekends,” Tom Gregor told the newspaper. “As our business unfolded it allowed for a full-time vocation.”
In the spring, the farm offers a variety of vegetables, hanging flower baskets, combination planters, and much more. During the holiday season, they have poinsettias, handmade wreaths, and Minnesota harvested Spruce Tops, according to its website.
Gregor Farm and Greenhouse is located at 2592 Holy Name Drive, Wayzata. Business hours are: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays; and10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays.
