3 Easy Home Projects for the Winter
Now that winter has settled in, you may be going a little stir crazy being indoors all the time. Well, take that pent-up energy and do one of those home improvement projects on your list.
If you’re up for getting a little dirty, but making a big difference in your home, here are a few projects to consider:
Paint a room or two—or five
Giving a room a fresh coat of paint can dramatically transform your living space. The winter is a great time to paint because the air is much more dry, versus painting in the humid summer. The best part? You can paint a whole room for less than $50, depending on the paint and number of coats needed.
Install a programmable thermostat
This is such an easy and inexpensive project you probably should’ve already done this! But, if you haven’t consider it. Not only will you be able to regulate the temperature of your home at all times, but you’ll also be able to save some money on energy bills as a result.
Declutter and organize a room each week
Since you’re staying inside more now, you’re probably feeling a little cramped with all your stuff. Why not make a resolution to declutter and organize? Not only will your home be more organized, but you’ll also keep yourself busy.
