PiYo in The Park Invites Everyone to Participate
Tuesday evenings workout friends gather by the pavilion to participate in some intense exercise. Combining the choreographed stretches of Yoga and the endurance of Pilates, PiYo in the Park is a great way to get in shape with health minded neighbors. Instructor Karen Hendershot is an experienced teacher in both exercises.
Bring a towel, bottle of water, and a yoga mat (if you have one) for the class held at 6 p.m. right by the basketball courts in the Washington Township Park. Practice poses while the sun starts settling over the horizon. Check the schedule as classes switch to Thursday nights at the same time in August.
Each week, more and more people decide to participate in this popular, local event that invites people of all ages to give it a try. It is a free class and open to the public. Get there right at 6 for the Insanity Workout or wait and come later at 6:45 p.m. for PiYo.
