‘Music In the Park’ Welcomes The Patrick Keller Band
‘Music in the Park’ is an exciting event that happens once a month in Washington Township Park. The Parks and Recreation Department of Washington Township hosts a band every third Thursday during summer for people to enjoy for free. Residents gather in the town’s amphitheater lawn to enjoy the various sounds of local, popular music.
The next scheduled performance is set for July 17th at 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Welcomed by the city is the group known as The Patrick Keller Band, a unique collaboration of stringed instruments and vocals. They host these sessions each month to encourage socializing among residents.
According to their website, The Patrick Keller Band is most known for his work with the saxophone. Patrick Keller’s production style is brand new, featuring powerful rock foundations laid down by musicians in his close group of talented people. A blend of catchy vocals, warm strings, rhythmic piano, guitars, and electronic elements, makes this music genre an easy listen.
People are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnics and snacks. Located in the lower level amphitheater at 435 Whipple Lane, ‘Music in the Park’ features up and coming bands from around Indiana.
