20th Annual Tootsie Pops Concert Teaches Young Children Orchestra Music

The 20th Annual Tootsie Pops concert is coming again this year in Washington Township, filling the North Central High School Orchestra with excitement. This sweet event has nothing to do with the tasty lollipops with the chewy, gooey center, it is designed for younger students to learn music! This year there will be two delightful presentations, one at 9:30 a.m. and another at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 8th.

This is a program to get pre-school and elementary children introduced to orchestra music. After listening to the skillful high school orchestra, the kids are invited to talk to the musicians, while learning about their specific instruments. This short 40 minute concert will bring happiness to everyone’s faces, with music that will fill your heart!

Admission is only $5, plan to bring your whole family, friends or a date to this fun event! It will be at the North Central High School in Washington Township. Enjoy the sweet tunes of our local orchestra to wake you up on a Saturday morning.
