Waconia’s Arbor Day Celebration Set for April 19

The city of Waconia’s annual Arbor Day Celebration is set for 6-7 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at Pheasant Ridge Park, 1150 Burandt Blvd.

According to the city’s website, the city celebrates Arbor Day every year by planting trees at a different city park each year. This year that park is Pheasant Ridge Park.

All community members are invited to participate in the event. Following the planting of trees, the community is also invited to join city staff and Park Board members do a little spring cleaning of the department’s Adopt-a-Trail.

All equipment and supplies will reportedly be provided for volunteers.
