Waconia’s Annual Band Fest Set for June 18
The 18th Annual Lake Waconia Band Fest featuring the state’s top high school marching bands is set for Saturday, June 18.
According to the Sun Patriot, there will be 13 visiting bands, along with the Waconia High School Marching Band and Drumline, performing during the festival. Thousands of spectators are expected to come to watch the show, too.
The first visiting band will start their performance at 6 p.m. at City Park Square. Each band will follow a parade route down Main Street to Walnut Street, then down Walnut to 3rd Street. Bleacher seating is available along the route for just $5.
