Waconia to Hold WEpalooza Oct. 5

WEpalooza is set to take over Schram Vineyards Winery and Brewery in Waconia this Sunday, Oct. 5.

According to the Sun Patriot, the now annual event is dedicated to enriching the lives of area women while raising money for a great cause, the Waconia United Food Shelf.

“WEpalooza is a multi-generational event for mothers, daughters, grandmothers, granddaughters, nieces, aunts, friends and family” the newspaper stated, and was “created to serve as a women’s expo.”

The cost to attend the event is $20 and that fee includes access to numerous vendors, a complimentary beverage of wine or root beer in a wine glass to take home, fashion advice from local experts, music, food and much more.

“[The event is all about] fun, peace, beauty and laughter guaranteed at no extra charge,” Connie McCarty-Robinson, who is organizing the event with Michelle McNally and Jennifer Roe, told the Patriot.

All the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Waconia United Food Shelf. Attendees will also be able to purchase bags of food as an extra donation to the food shelf.

Pre-registration is not required and the event runs from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. Schram Vineyards Winery and Brewery which is located at 8785 Airport Rd. in Waconia.
