Here are three events you don’t want to pass by during the month of June:

1. Lake Waconia Band Festival. 6:00 PM, June 15, 2013 at Main Street, Downtown Waconia. Every year, this is an event that attracts people from Waconia and surrounding areas. Once you attend this band festival you will find yourself coming back every year in the future.

2. Fishing Friday. 10:00 AM, June 14, 2013 at Cedar Point Park. This free event is perfect for those who enjoy spending time outdoors. With fishing equipment provided, there is no reason not to attend this event. It is a great way to spend time with your children while enjoying the great outdoors.

3. Music in the Park. Every Thursday during the summer you can visit City Square Park at 7:00 PM to take in bands from the metro area. Even if the weather turns bad, the show goes on at the indoor Safari Island Community Center.
