Waconia Library Offers More than Books this Winter

The cold season brings everyone indoors. Why not go to the local library? Grab a book and a comfortable place to read. There are always events and activities going on at the Waconia Library for everyone! Whether you want to watch a movie, or see an artist exhibit, this is the best way to spend your cold afternoons.

Get things done during the winter months. The best way to learn new information and study is to go somewhere quiet. This season offers up a lot of choices when you come to the library. Get help with your taxes – they have tax assistance preparation sessions and books on preparing your returns. There will be volunteers at the Waconia Library all through January to schedule classes for tax information.

There are many more things to do with your family at Waconia Library. Storytimes are popular for young children, which follow the Every Child Ready to Read practices. You can go to their website to check out all the events at: www.carverlib.org. From bookmark making to a Writers’ Workshop, the fun never stops here!
