Rollerblade Pioneer Brings Latest Invention to Waconia
The founder of Rollerblade has a new invention, and it’s currently available for use in Waconia.
According to the Star Tribune, Scott Olson has brought his SkyRide Technology to Swan Lake in Waconia, offering riders a chance to check out the aerial bicycle while also being active.
SkyRide is part rollercoaster and part bike, the article said, and relies on the pedal or rowing power of its users to drive sleek vehicles suspended from an overhead monorail.
Not only is the SkyRide available around Swan Lake in Waconia, but Olson has a deal in the works with Carnival Cruise Line to install the SkyRide on a some of its larger ships.
Olson told the newspaper he’s also discussing SkyRide proposals with the Minnesota State Fair, Mall of America, Buck Hill ski hill and “a couple of brew hubs.”
