Marc Huebner Chosen to Participate in Food Network’s “America’s Best Cook”
After developing a passion for cooking, local Marc Huebner of Waconia might be “America’s Best Cook”! The new competition show on Food Network selected contestants from across the country, and Huebner made the cut. Hosted by the popular Ted Allen, the participants are split up into teams of four that slowly dwindle down to one best cook!
Watch the series every Sunday night at 8 p.m., you can see a local celebrity at his best in the kitchen. The culinary challenge will be difficult, but the cash prize of $50,000 makes it sound much better! Throughout the show, the contestants are mentored by a variety of popular chefs from Food Network programs. Challenges are timed to make the intensity even higher for the teams.
Huebner was honored to be selected as one of the contestants! This gives him a chance to put all those years of experience to work. He has been cooking for others, in Waconia, since he found his love for food and doesn’t want to stop there. Winning $50,000 would put him in a better position for future endeavors.
