Former Waconia High Student Announces Candidacy for MN House
United States Army veteran and former Waconia High School student Sean White has put his hat in the ring as the DFL candidate for the Minnesota House seat for District 47A.
According to the Sun Patriot, White entered the Army at 17 and worked in communications for four years. Currently he works as an information security consultant and attends Concordia University.
“Principles should be the driving force of our policy,” White reportedly said. “I think there is this bad practice by candidates where they feel that if they issue enough policy statements, voters will be able to reverse engineer their values and their principles. I think my experience with the military has really helped define those core values that I feel that I share, not only with the people of this district, but just the common values that we as Americans hold.”
