City Officials Break Ground on Waconia Crossings
Waconia city officials gathered at the site of the future Waconia Crossings development and ceremoniously broke ground on the project May 10.
According to the Sun Patriot, the development will house several businesses, with confirmed tenants including Holiday, Culvers, Dollar Tree, Starbucks, AT&T and Sportsclips.
“We’re pretty big advocates for our community, we think it’s a great place to be, and I think it’s a big testimony for us that you guys have chosen this area,” Dean Meyer, Waconia Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors chair, reportedly said of developer Oppidan Investment Company.
Construction on the site is expected to wrap up this fall.
