City Council Approves Waconia Crossings Development
The Waconia City Council has given its blessing to a future multi-unit development at the southwest corner of Highway 5 and Cherry Street.
According to the Sun Patriot, the council approved plans for the new development, dubbed Waconia Crossings, that will three single-tenant buildings as well as one multi-tenant building. So far, confirmed tenants for the new development include Culver’s, AT&T, Dollar Tree, Holiday Stationstores, Starbucks and Sports Clips.
Oppidan Investment Company is the developer.
“We believe the residents of Waconia and those visiting or passing through will all benefit from the amenities and convenience at Waconia Crossings,” Paul Tucci, Oppidan’s vice president of development, reportedly said. “We’re pleased to partner with the community, and we’re grateful for their support.”
