You don’t have to spend a fortune giving your bathroom a new look. Here are a few cheap and quick ideas to give your bathroom a remodel on the cheap!
Refinish Your Tile
If you pink, green or any other crazy colored tile but it is still in good shape, you can simply refinish the tile to get a nice clean looking tile. You can buy tile refinishing kits at most major home stores for roughly $30. You will run into some limitations though as most refinishing kits come in only 3-4 colors that are mostly off white.
Paint Your Walls
This tip is really a no brainer, but the affect a new coat of color can have on a bathroom is undeniable. Best part is that bathrooms can usually be two coated with one gallon of paint, so even with a brush and roller, your total investment will be roughly $50.
Refinish / Paint Your Bathroom Vanity
You may not have to throw away your vanity simply because it is outdated. A fresh coat of paint can give your vanity a brand new look. Don’t want it looking brand new? Add in some distressing or glazing for a really unique looking vanity.
Refinish Your Bathtub
This one can make the most sense of any of these tips. Refinishing your bathtub instead of replacing it can literally save you $1000 or more. Many home stores sell bathtub refinishing kits right along with their tile refinishing kits. Bathtubs can be tricky though, so hiring a professional may not be a bad investment. You can expect to spend $300-$400 to hire a professional, but you will end up with a brand new looking tub.
