Lion’s Main to Move into Former Shanghai Bistro Spot
Downtown Stillwater’s Lion’s Main is expanding and rebranding. According to the Stillwater Gazette, the restaurant is planning a move into the former Shanghai Bistro space and it will reopen as Lion’s Tavern.
Nelson’s Ice Cream owners opened the restaurant last year.
“We are excited to move into a larger space where we can expand our offerings of quality, scratch-made food and drinks, in a comfortable setting,” Daved Najarian, general manager and the owners’ son, told the newspaper. “We are committed to providing the Stillwater community with great food and drinks, while providing an atmosphere that is lively and welcoming.”
The restaurant isn’t moving far, just next store basically. Both are located in the building known as the Grand Garage, but the bistro’s former spot will give the restaurant a ton more space—including a patio with capacity for 250 people.
The reopening is planned for the end of April.
