New Medical Center Will Serve Emergencies Better

As the northeast subdivisions of Phoenix continue to grow so does the need for new medical centers. Anthem has plans to construct a 20,000-square-foot medical building. The design was presented last July by developers Wyatt Wood and Gregory Sheppard and was recently approved by the community council.

According to the Anthem News article, Wood and Sheppard, owners of Wood Orthodontics and West Valley Pediatric Dentistry respectively, purchased land at 41930 N. Venture Drive and will begin the permitting process for construction with Maricopa County.

“One of the main [advantages] is that we will be a little more visible … We’ll be able to service emergencies quicker,” Wood said in the article. “It is a great new location with the space to design our offices the way we want.”

Construction is scheduled to begin in just a few months and should be finished by the end of fall 2015.
