New Foliage Provides Welcoming Entrance to Arroyo Grande

The Arroyo Grande neighborhood gets new foliage and plants, native to the state, placed along the entrance of the community. Already a beautiful area of Anthem, the city wanted to add something unique to this particular spot because of its popularity.

Beautiful, bright colored Arizona greenery aligns the outside of the community when commuters pass by Arroyo Grande. It’s almost distracting how much more decorative the plants make the entrance seem.

Plants included in the landscaping project, by ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance, are: Baja Fairy Dusters, Texas sage, Golden Eye, Mexican Thread grass, Yellow Tecoma and Orange Tecoma. All plants are gorgeous desert flowers and greenery that increase the curb appeal of this Northeast Phoenix neighborhood.

“The plants in the Arroyo Grande neighborhood had been neglected, and it is important that all areas and all neighborhoods in Anthem receive special landscaping attention and beautification opportunities,” said ACC Parks & Facilities Director Jim Metcalf on the Anthem Community Council website.
