Introducing House4Fashion – A Different Take on High-End Consignment
A new store has made its way into the northeast Phoenix area with a different concept than other retail outlets. With a name like House4Fashion, located at 42407 N. Vision Way, this is sure to be the upcoming trend for shoppers in the community. The demand for high-end consignment has taken over the market, since it costs so much less for slightly used apparel and accessories.
Finding their new home in Anthem, owners Benny Ohrman and Pamela Johnson describe their store as “high-end, chic consignment”. Once someone walks in they might notice something different about this particular space, they specialize in leather designs.
According to AnthemNews.com, Ohrman, 63, is a self-taught, award-winning master leather artist. For over 40 years, he has worked with the material to create interior designs, purses and jewelry. Customers will find the beautiful, decorative leather art adorning every wall, and available for purchase. It is definitely unique to the area and is going to gain some attention.
His talent doesn’t stop there, Ohrman can make miracles happen with his leather skills. “I do drawings for them to help with the vision,” said Orhman in the recent article. “People dream about it, but they can’t get it out. I’m good at helping them see it.” He once hand-tailored leather over an entire car body, that now resides in a German museum.
Further, Ohrman is working on a leather accessories collection to debut at a Cannes Film Festival fashion show. He is a busy man with the new store opening and the demand to make beautiful leather pieces.
“There is a need for this,” Johnson said in the article. “A lot of people want nicer stuff, but many don’t want to spend a lot for it.”
