Restaurant Review: Trappers Chophouse in Parker

Restaurant Review: Trappers Chophouse in Parker

If you’re in the mood for a juicy steak or fresh seafood, Parker’s Trappers Chophouse may be just what you need.

Trappers Chophouse is owned locally by Tom and Tricia Mccann, who also own a couple hotels and other business interests in town. Tom Mccann is a fourth generation cattle rancher from Montana. The couple moved to Parker from Wyoming in the late 90s. With Tom’s history as a cattle rancher, the restaurant’s menu features only Colorado beef, as well as fresh seafood daily.

With an excellent view of the Rocky Mountains and the Denver skyline, Trapper’s Chophouse sits on the top floor of the Holiday Inn. Steak Oscar, Cassis Chicken, Atlantic Salmon and Crab and Lobster Mac and Cheese are among the delicious menu items.

As far as reviews go, Open Table has the chophouse ranked at 4 out of 5 stars, while Yelp reviews have the restaurant sitting at 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Trappers is located at 19308 Cottonwood Dr. The bar opens at 4:30 p.m. daily, and dinner service begins at 5:30 p.m.
