If you’re looking for a unique or romantic dining experience, Parker’s Café Monet may be worth considering.
The interesting restaurant has found a niche in two food styles as a country French and Italian eatery.
“On the French side, our menu includes Beef Bourguignon and Cordon Bleu,” the restaurant’s website says. “Or Trout Almandine and Veal Parmesan if you’re interested in Italian.”
While the décor may not be super trendy, the romantic atmosphere features roomy, intimate booth seating, low lighting and a cozy experience. All baguettes are made fresh for dinner, and all dinner entrees include the soup du jour, a crisp green salad, the vegetable of the day, and your choice of rice or potatoes. You can also finish off your meal with some chocolate mousse.
“It was nice,” someone wrote on Urbanspoon. “It looked exactly what a Country Italian/ French place should look like. The restaurant was really dim, and there were candles on the tables, which would make a romantic date with a Parker Cabrona. They even had x-mas lights up.”
