Parker Welcomes Renee Williams to the Town Council

Renee Williams officially began her first term as a Parker Town Council member after being sworn into office during the council’s Dec. 15 meeting.

According to a city release, Williams is the owner of Parker’s To The Rescue and chose to run for office because she believes in giving back to her community. Transportation and housing for populations with special needs are a couple of her priorities.

Here’s a little more about Williams:

“Williams lives in the Challenger Park Estates subdivision with her two dogs and has been a Parker business owner for nine years. She enjoys living, working and playing in the fabulous Parker community. … Williams holds undergraduate degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Business, as well as graduate degrees in Human Resources Management (HRM) and Business (MBA).”

Williams replaced Scott Jackson, who just completed a nine-and-a-half year stint on the council.
