Parker Officer Saves Life After Car Crash

Parker Officer Saves Life After Car Crash

Parker Adventist Hospital served as the backdrop for an emotional reunion between a local officer and a man whose life he saved after a car crash last month.

According to the Parker Chronicle, Sergeant Joe Cummings arrived at around noon Aug. 21 to the scene of a crash near Jordan Road and Centre Court. Daniel Tischhauser had struck the rear of another vehicle and was unresponsive and without a pulse inside his vehicle. Cummings performed CPR and was able to resuscitate Tischhauser.

The pair met at the hospital last week for the reunion and Tischhauser reportedly said: “You saved my life, but I never saw your face until today.”
