Parker Offering Free Christmas Tree Recycling Program

Parker Offering Free Christmas Tree Recycling Program

Now that the holiday season has come to an end, you can recycle your Christmas tree through a free program by the Town of Parker.

This year’s drop-off site is at the east paged Salisbury Park ballfields parking lot, located at 11920 Motsenbocker Rd. Both green and flocked real trees will be accepted between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. through Jan. 25.

All Christmas decorations and any tarps, nails or other items should be removed from the tree before it’s dropped off. The trees collected by the program will be chipped into mulch, which will be available at no charge to residents around the first week in January. Remaining mulch will be utilized throughout town and not discarded in a landfill. For more information, call the Town of Parker at 303-840-9546.
