Parker Call-n-Ride Service Saved by New Partnership

Parker Call-n-Ride Service Saved by New Partnership

A collaborative partnership between the Town of ParkerDouglas County and the Regional Transportation District (RTD) will keep Parker’s Call-n-Ride service running in 2015.

The Call-n-Ride service is a curb-to-curb bus service that travels within RTD’s limited service area inside Parker. According to a city press release, the route was originally recommended for removal by RTD based on low ridership. But, after holding public meetings where citizens opposed losing the service, Town staff and Douglas County have worked with RTD to improve the service model and created the transit advisory committee (TAC).

The Parker Call-n-Ride service is available by calling 303-301-5772 for a reservation at least two hours in advance. The service runs 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
