Parker Adventist Hospital is in the midst of a $39 million expansion as it prepares to serve 100,000 more people by 2022.
According to the Parker Chronicle, accessible medical care is one of the most vital infrastructure components for the rapidly growing community in and around Parker, and the hospital is planning ahead. Currently the area serves 460,000 people, and that number is expected to grow to 562,000 in the next seven years.
The current projects underway include a parking structure, building out more operating room and pre-op space, and creating an “ER express process” aimed at reducing emergency room wait times.
