The wait is finally over for Parker, Colorado; a Boondocks Family Fun Center is in the works to meet growing demand for family friendly games, bowling alleys, go-karts, bumper boats, laser tag and more.
Recently, a developer from Idaho submitted the application to the Town of Parker to build the Boondocks Center next to the Costco. The 53,000 square-foot building will encompass the whole area at E-470 and Cottonwood Drive in Crown Point. Town council approved the application at their last meeting yesterday.
According to the Parker Chronicle, the facility will include a 32-lane bowling alley, arcade game center, laser tag, four-dimensional interactive theater, and a restaurant and event center with meeting rooms. Outside of Boondocks the fun doesn’t stop, they are going to have a miniature golf course, bumper boat pool, and a go-kart track. Construction is set to start in early 2015, and everything should be completed the following year.
Since, Parker’s only bowling alley closed in the early 1990s they have been struggling to find a stable fun place to go with the family. Lone Tree has a Brunswick Zone and Centennial hosts a Celebrity Lanes, but both would require around a 20 minute drive from Parker.
Stay tuned Parker families, as this wildly popular entertainment building makes its way into the community.
