One in every 10 babies born in Colorado is born prematurely. With that statistic in mind, the upcoming March of Dimes walk is coming to Denver on April 26th. Join fellow advocates at the Denver City Park at 10 a.m. to help raise awareness.

Sara Walla is just one mother who’s life was changed by the March of Dimes. She was an employee of Parker, Colorado’s communication department and is now the communications director for the March of Dimes, Colorado chapter after having a now healthy premature baby.
March of Dimes was initially established by Franklin D. Roosevelt to fight polio, according to the March of Dimes website, their mission has since shifted to premature birth and birth defects. Today, their research has helped thousands of babies survive.
