National Arbor Day is April 24, and the Town of Parker is celebrating the day with a Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, April 25 at Salisbury Park. Parker Parks and Recreation is hosting the event, which will feature planting trees starting at 9 a.m.

Participants are asked to bring their own gloves and shovels, and the Town will be providing donuts, coffee and hot chocolate for all to enjoy.

Parker is designated a “Tree City USA” by the Arbor Day Foundation, and has been maintaining this title for 22 years.

Salisbury Park is located at 11920 N. Motsenbacher Rd. For more information, go to www.parkerrec.com/arborday, or call 303-805-3263 or email wepps@parkeronline.org.
