2013 Bike to Work Day in Parker
It’s time to make a fun shift! Each year on the fourth Wednesday in June, the Town of Parker and the Denver Regional Council of Governments invites the public to join thousands of commuters for Bike to Work Day! This years Bike to Work Day will be on Wednesday, June 6th.
Riding a bicycle can be a fun way to get to and from work while increasing physical activity, reducing traffic congestion, helping the environment and even saving money.
The Town of Parker will host a Parker Breakfast Station at the Cherry Creek Trail under the E-470 overpass on Bike to Work Day each year. Join us on Wednesday, June 26 from 6:30 to 9 a.m. at the Town’s Breakfast Station!
The first 200 riders to stop at Parker’s Breakfast Station will also receive an official Bike To Work Day T-Shirt. Riders will enjoy breakfast and giveaways from local sponsors including Good Times, Panera, Del Taco, Chipotle, Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, BING Energy Drink and the Funky Brewster. Bike technicians from the Parker location of Treads will be available to aid the biking commuters and restrooms will be provided by Parker Port-A-Potty. Click here for a map to the station.
Bike to Work Day is organized by the Denver Regional Council of Governments, in partnership with a large and enthusiastic group of community partners.
