Xavier College Preparatory Students Win National Computing Recognition

Two Xavier College Preparatory students have earned national recognition by the National Center for Women and Information Technology.

According to the Paradise Valley Independent, juniors Gillian Vaughn and Skylar Smith, who attend Xavier, a college prepatory school that serves Paradise Valley, have been awarded “Aspirations in Computing” honorable mention accolades.

The two students were recognized for their demonstrated interest and achievements in computing, the report said. They were also recognized for their proven leadership ability, academic performance, and plans for post‑secondary education.
