Valley’s Fresh Start Fashion Gala Raise $1.5 Million
The 20th annual Fresh Start Fashion Gala on March 12 recently raised $1.5 million for the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. Fresh Start offers free and low cost programs and services in the areas of economic self-sufficiency, education and personal development.
According to the Paradise Valley Independent, the annual gala—which was held at The Phoenician—is one of the Valley’s premier fundraising events.
“The community’s support of this year’s gala was incredible,” Susan Berman, Fresh Start’s president and CEO, reportedly said in a press release. “We are so fortunate that many individuals and organizations value the work Fresh Start carries out each day to empower women to transform their lives.”
Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust presented the event.
