Two Paradise Valley Seniors Named Flinn Scholars

Two Paradise Valley seniors are among 22 in all of Arizona named Flinn Scholars.

According to 12News.com, Lauren Paxton, a senior at Pinnacle High School, and Kyle Kline, a senior at Paradise Valley High School, are two of 22 students across Arizona who earned a Flinn Scholarship, which is a highly competitive merit-based scholarship that covers the cost of tuition and room and board at one of the state’s three universities.

Paxton will attend Arizona State University, and Kline will attend the University of Arizona, the report said.

The scholarships are valued at more than $120,000, the report said, and are supported by the Phoenix-based Flinn Foundation and Arizona’s three universities: Arizona State University; Northern Arizona University; and the University of Arizona.
