Shake it Up! El Chorro Hosts a Summer Cocktail Class
One of Paradise Valley‘s favorite Mexican restaurants, El Chorro, is hosting a summer cocktail class throughout the summer, and there’s still time to get in on the fun. Get a personal introduction to mixology with El Chorro’s beverage manager Alex van Dobben and executive chef Charles Kassels.
The next class is held on August 13 at El Chorro, 5550 E. Lincoln Drive. Watch as the chef prepares jerk snapper, white rice, black beans, crispy plantains and papaya relish. Shake it up with Alec as he demonstrates summer, fresh cocktails that are made to satisfy anyone sitting in the hot sun.
Arizona has a strong southwestern appeal with its diverse menus and drinks. They definitely have their own take on everyday dishes that will make mouths water and eyes pop out. Preparing succulent dishes to pair with these tasty alcohol concoctions, chef Kassels is preparing an array of Jamaican-style cuisine.
Make reservations by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Class is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and the cost is $55 per person. Visit www.elchorro.com for more information on the class or the restaurant.
