Paradise Valley’s Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony is Dec. 2

Paradise Valley is kicking off the holiday season with its annual tree lighting ceremony from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Montelucia Resort & Spa and the whole community is invited.

According to the town’s website, Mayor-Elect Michael Collins and Cardinals football player Andre Ellington will be on hand to host the event. Festivities include free cocoa and cookies for the kids, photo opportunities with Santa Claus, and the lighting of a giant, 20-foot Christmas tree.

The event will take place in the Corijo Plaza, just outside the resort’s Prado Restaurant. The resort is located at 4949 E. Lincoln Dr. in Paradise Valley.
