Paradise Valley Teen Named Gatorade Arizona Boys Soccer Player of the Year

A Paradise Valley student and soccer phenom has earned quite the honor.

According to the Paradise Valley Independent, Carter Clemmensen, a Paradise Valley resident who attends Brophy College Prep, has been named as the 2018 Gatorade Arizona Boys Soccer Player of the Year.

The reportedly award recognizes outstanding athletic excellence and high standards of academic achievement, as well as exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field.

Clemmensen is also the sixth Gatorade Arizona Boys Soccer Player of the Year to be chosen from Brophy College Prep over the years.

According to the article, by winning the state award, Clemmensen is now a finalist for the prestigious Gatorade National Boys Soccer Player of the Year award to be announced in June.
