Paradise Valley Students Receive Creativity Awards
Two gifted students in the Paradise Valley Unified School District have placed in the 2015 International Torrance Legacy Creativity Awards.
According to the Paradise Valley Independent, North Ranch Elementary School third-grader Madeline Himlin placed second in the Arts and Leisure component of the Inventions category. Fireside Elementary School sixth-grader received second place in the Science and Engineering category.
The students will be featured in the 2015 Torrance Award booklet and they will be honored with an award session at the 2015 National Association of Gifted Children Convention and Conference, Nov. 12-15 in Phoenix.
