Paradise Valley Makes Security Company’s ‘Safest Cities’ in AZ List
Paradise Valley is ranked No. 7 and was among 16 other cities including Gilbert, Surprise and Sedona that made the list. According to Safe Choice Security, the rankings were based on 2012 FBI Crime Statistics reports for more than 100 cities in Arizona. After analyzing the statistics on property and violent crimes rates, the company was able to rank the top 21 safest towns in the state. Here’s how Paradise Valley is described on the list:
“The small Phoenix Metropolitain area town of Paradise Valley should not be judged by its size. Paradise Valley is Arizona’s premier vacation destination, hosting over a dozen high end resorts. Located next to the beautiful Phoenix Mountains Preserve and Piestewa Peak Park, the city motto, ‘There is a reason we call this valley ‘paradise” is exceedingly accurate in this case. Lured by its beauty, Paradise Valley is home to dozens of notable celebrities including Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Shaquille O’Neal, Steve Nash, Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper, Vice-President Dan Quayle and Chief Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist.”
Florence took the No. 1 spot followed by Sahuarita and Somerton at second and third, respectively.
