Paradise Valley Church Undergoes Major Expansion; Will Feature Global Materials
A Paradise Valley church is about to expand after years of steady growth.
According to the Paradise Valley Independent, the Franciscan Renewal Center, is about to launch a $20 million, two-part expansion after reaching its fundraising goals.
All told, the plan is to construct a new church, community life center, and guest rooms, and renovate guest rooms and the kitchen in the current space, the article said.
The current church seats 300 individuals, and attendance often spills out into the lobby and onto the lawn and patio. The new church—the Church of Our Lady of the Angels—will have room for 600 fixed seats and flexible seating for an additional 200, according to the article.
While there isn’t an opening date set-in-stone, a grand opening is expected sometime in the summer 2017.
