Food Review: El Chorro Wins the Hearts of Local Patrons

Powered by rustic Sonoran Desert charm, a copper-topped bar, and a free basket of warm sticky buns, patrons keep coming back to Paradise Valley’s El Chorro Mexican restaurant — a local destination.

The menu is Mexican-inspired with a few modern American dishes that feature local Arizona ingredients. El Chorro also has a great happy hour that features drink specials that go well with freshly prepared chips and  guacamole.

A review by Phoenix NewTimes reads,

“dinners can begin with the Windmill Farms roasted beet salad with crispy parsnips, Crow’s Dairy feta cheese, and sherry maple vinaigrette. A suggested larger plate would be the buffalo burger with bacon onion marmalade, or the chicken enchiladas with red and green chile, polenta and vegetable napoleon.”
