CodeRED Safety Program Launching Dec. 6
A brand, new program called CodeRED is being launched in Paradise Valley, this December. It is described as a “reverse 9-1-1 system aimed at contacting resident during emergencies.”
The system will alert residents of a missing child or an elderly person, an Amber alert. Also, in addition if there are any major road closures or flooding people will be notified via CodeRED. The project is aimed to ensure locals feel safe in the city, no matter what the emergency.
CodeRED is set to go “live” in Paradise Valley Friday, Dec. 6. You can choose to either be contacted through phone, e-mail, text, or even social media. Whatever is most convenient to you, it is important to be signed up.
