What is the Minnetonka Community Center?
Many people, even those who live in Minnetonka, are unaware of just how much the Minnetonka Community Center has to offer. For example, did you know that the center is big enough to accommodate groups of up to 250? How about the fact that many city business meetings take place at the Community Center on a regular basis?
The City of Minnetonka is responsible for managing and operating the Community Center. It is available for general community use while also serving as the home of the Senior Citizen Program.
The Banquet Room is one of many features that sets the Minnetonka Community Center apart from others. When the Dining Room and Community Room are combined, there is enough space for 250 people. The facility provides everything from the tables and chairs to a dance floor and speaker system if necessary.
Any group or individual who is interested in using the Minnetonka Community Center should contact the facilities division at 952-939-8390. Since it is booked on a first come-first served basis, it is important to schedule your event as far in advance as possible.
If you are a Minnetonka resident and have never visited the Community Center, there is no better time than now to take a closer look.
