Money Magazine Ranks Minnetonka on ‘Best Places to Live’ List
Minnetonka has once again been named as a top place to live in the nation.
According to Money Magazine, Minnetonka is a top-100 place to live, coming in 85th on the publication’s Best Places to Live 2017 list.
Minnetonka ranked highly thanks to its median household income of $82,750, 92.4 percent graduation rate, and low commute time of 20 minutes. In addition, there are 196 clear days of weather per year, the publication noted.
In compiling the list, Money Magazine looks at 170,000 data points for about 2,400 places in the country, the report’s methodology said, and rewards cities and towns the publication says offers economic opportunity, a sense of community, and access to amenities that make life more enjoyable.
