Minnetonka High Announces New Assistant Principal

Minnetonka High School has a new assistant principal. Robb Virgin was recently announced as Mark McIlmoyle’s replacement.

According to the Sun Sailor, Virgin is a doctoral student and university instructor at the University of Minnesota, but noted Minnetonka’s commitment to excellence as one of the things that makes the district an good fit for him

“Minnetonka’s visionary commitment to excellence, innovation and a world-class learning environment make it the ideal place for me to positively impact student learning,” Virgin reportedly said. “I look forward to working with our talented students, staff and families.”

Virgin was a graduate-level instructor in the College of Education and HUman development at the university, with his primary focus and research being on personalized learning design, student engagement, assessment for learning and building collaborative relationships, the newspaper said.
